Prontosan Wound Gel X is a surfactant-containing/PHMB-containing wound gel used to assist gentle disruption and cleansing of the wound bed area/s (non-viable tissue, slough and surface biofilm).

PHMB ingredient also provides use of product of up to 8 weeks after opening and assists in reduction in bacterial load.

Cleansing, moisturising, and decontaminating skin wounds and burns for:

  • Traumatic wounds
  • Post-operative wounds
  • Chronic ulcers (e.g. venous, diabetic or pressure injuries)
  • Thermal wounds
  • Chemical wounds (acid- and alkali-induced)
  • Radiation-induced wounds
  • Full thickness burns
  • Bandage and wound dressing moistening
